When I was a child, I was told that we are Indian…. We are superior than the rest of world because we respect Women, we worship women as  goddesses ..!! It’s a lie.  Women are not worshiped as goddesses; goddesses are worshiped as goddesses.   women are less than even fully human in India. When I thought  to write this article, I discuss with my mentor… a healthy discussion. I asked him, how can I justify that India hate women, when We've had a female prime minister, a female president and several female chief ministers. How then can we hate women? He start with a  funny line but with a serious thought “  Am I to make pickles out of your so-and-SOS, your precious ministers and chiefs? What good has their being in power ever done to any ordinary woman? How many rapes, dowry deaths, beatings, sexual  harassment  has it prevented? What has it ever done except to prove that a privileged few women can get status, wealth and power?” ...

Hello Damini, I am VIneet, a common man, working and living in NCR.  This letter will probably never reach you, Damini. And if by chance it does, I hope when you're feeling a little better, you read it. Outside your room in the hospital, outside the corridors smelling of medicine, outside the operating theaters. Some people want them hung. Some want them castrated. Some want them to be handed over to the public. And Some are still defending them..!!   Obviously, none of this will actually happen. I read in an article somewhere that death penalties can only be given to the rarest of rare cases . I am Sorry, I am helpless. I can protest, shout slogans, post on facebook, change my dp, but is it really worthy. I don't find yet. Still 2 criminals are missing.   Politicians are busy scoring a point. Some people who specialize in “ violence against women ” have come up with another solution that involves sensitizing men to respect women. There will be a  candle march  somewhere and some people will  shout slogans  and then everyone will forget and wake up when the next rape happens.  I'm  wondering what is going through a rapist mind. I want this woman  and I can get away with it or max will go to jail for a few months provided I get caught. According to a tweet by Arvind Kejriwal, in 2012 there were 500 plus rape cases and none of the rapist got prosecuted. So we can run all the campaigns and do the candle light marches, unless there is fear of God in every potential rapist we cannot solve this proble...
